| Tea
the Anti-Oxidant
Did you know that oxidants in the human body
gradually damage membranes & genetic material
leading to chronic disease?
Scientists have identified antioxidant compounds
found in green, black and oolong tea help neutralize
oxidants preventing cell damage.
According to Dr. John Weisburger of the American
health foundation, research shows that tea contains
powerful anti-oxidants and health promoting
ingredients, which lower the risk of heart disease,
stroke, premature aging, and certain types of
cancer.
Green, Black, Oolong-what's the difference?
All teas come from the same plant Camellia Sinensis.
All types of tea start out roughly the same-its
how you process them that makes the difference.
Tea and Caffeine
Caffeine-a natural component of coffee, tea
and cocoa is generally considered safe when
consumed in moderation. Research proves that
the presence of caffeine in tea does not produce
any unhealthy result due to its combination
with tea polyphenols.
